About

Anita is a certified executive coach (ACC) and nonprofit consultant who has raised millions of dollars for various nonprofits. Anita has 20+ years of experience in roles as a C-suite leader, entrepreneur and parent. Serving as a positive thought partner and sounding board, Anita enjoys helping clients set and attain goals. Anita was formerly Chief Development & Communications Officer at America Needs You (ANY), an award-winning, mentorship and career development nonprofit to support first-generation college students. Anita earned a Senior Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals Certificate from Columbia Business School and her Master of Public Administration, with Honors, from the Marxe School of Public & International Affairs at Baruch College, as a National Urban Fellow. Previously she held positions at the New York Power Authority, CAMBA (the largest social service agency in Brooklyn) and the Fellowship of Reconciliation (an interfaith peace and justice organization). She graduated with Distinction from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English Language & Literature. Anita loves to travel; she has lived in six countries and visited over 35. She currently lives in Montclair, NJ with her husband and their two daughters.
